by teaming with sting and the bulldog he was being given a pretty sturdy Rub.
his intro was staged on WCW Saturday night (very highly rated and respected Tv show on TBS that aired every weekend on tbs,,when the braves weren’t on). sting and bulldog teased who there partner was going to be.
was it going to be a current roster member ? A debuting superstar who was jumping ship from the E ? a heal turing face?
No it was the mighty shock master (AKA TUG BOAT AKA TYPHOON) .
all this guy had to do to get the keys to the kingdom was bust threw A fake plywood and paper wall.

In his defense it may have not been the best idea to put that storm trooper helmet with glitter sock pulled over it (poor big bastard had to bust through a wall why did ya have to cover his eyes… why cover it with a glitter sock at all)
to make his push and maters in general more confusing when he next appeared “the shock-master” was sporting a hard hat and a construction workers gimmick !??!!

Ok, so I’m no expert, well, I’m sort of an expert. At least as close to one you’re gonna get around here. But wasn’t the lack of silly cartoon characters the number one thing that set NWA/WCW apart over the years? How the hell did this board meeting go? Who made this decision? “Our pay-per-view ratings are in the gutter. What should we do? I know! Kids dig Robocop.” The worst part of this whole debacle is that two of the greatest commentators of all time are calling this ridiculous spectacle without even a hint of a smile. Bad times indeed.
