But wasn’t the lack of silly cartoon characters the number one thing that set NWA/WCW apart over the years? How the hell did this board meeting go? Who made this decision? “Our pay-per-view ratings are in the gutter. What should we do? I know! Kids dig Robocop.” The worst part of this whole debacle is that two of the greatest commentators of all time are calling this ridiculous spectacle without even a hint of a smile. Bad times indeed.
